Your data, your systems, and your VA
Handing work to someone overseas means handing them access. Here is how we keep that safe, what we ask of you, and what we never do.
Where your data lives
- The Mango workspace, and the database behind it, run in London.
Who can see what
- Everyone signs in to the workspace with their own account. Each client sees only their own business, each VA sees only the work of the client they support, and the back office is Mango staff only.
Payments
- You pay by Direct Debit through Stripe. We never see or store your bank details: Stripe holds them.
Access to your systems
- We ask that your VA has their own login to each system wherever the software allows, or that you share access through a password manager. Then access can be changed or removed in one step, and never depends on a shared password.
Your procedures
- What your VA does, and what they must bring to you, is written down in procedures they read and sign in the workspace. When a procedure changes, they sign the new version.
Your VA
- Before you meet a candidate, they have passed our screening: a timed test, references and an interview. Your VA works under a written contract with us or, on placement, with you.
