About two weeks after the call. You direct the work; we handle HR, pay and support.
You can absolutely do that, and it's cheaper. What you take on is the recruiting, the vetting, the contract, the payroll, the timezone management, the performance conversations, the data-protection paperwork, and the rehire when it doesn't work out. We do those, and you get a workspace to run the day-to-day in. If you enjoy the management side, use our Placement service instead and keep the ongoing fee.
We recruit for UK-hours coverage as standard. Where a role genuinely suits overnight or split cover, we'll say so when we build the role profile.
Tell your account manager. We diagnose first. Most problems are a briefing or a process problem rather than a person problem, and those we fix. If it really is the wrong person, we replace them at no additional placement cost, and your SOPs mean the replacement starts from something rather than nothing.
No. Tasks, messaging, time tracking, reporting and document storage are in the workspace and included in the monthly fee. If you already use your own tools, your VA will work in those instead, and the workspace still keeps the record.
Around two weeks from when you go ahead to a working assistant, for most roles.
Monthly, in arrears: you pay for a month after it has been worked. The one-off onboarding fee is the only thing paid before your VA starts.
The Managed VA Service has a three-month minimum term and then runs monthly. Placement is a one-time fee with no ongoing commitment.
No. VAs work as self-employed contractors. On the Managed service they are contracted to us: we handle the contract, pay and performance, and you brief the work. On Placement, you contract with them directly.
